Marion Balac is an artist and an illustrator based in Paris. She went to Fine Arts School in Lyon, where she made experimental videos. Thereafter, she began drawing, creating forms, sometimes abstract and sometimes naïve in the form of posters or self-published books. She recently made a return to painting, where she animates characters living in a uncertain and gloomy world. These days she’s working with pencil, drawing wild jungles with white shapes evolving in them.
