Matt Craven is a UK-based illustrator. Ideas for his work come from growing up in an ex-fishing town and its conjoined decrepit seaside town in the north of England. He uses a simple language of black humour, limited colour and the everyday to make work he cares about.

Previous clients/publications include: The New York Times, The Casual Connoisseur, Nutshell Magazine, The Drawbridge, Storehouse Magazine, Stalking Elk, Norwich University of the Arts, The Project, Meniscus Film Society, Meathaus, Illustration Age, NUA Alumni Magazine, Juxtapoz Magazine, Creative Review, Veto, Carpaccio Magazine, Mail Me Art, Doodlers Anonymous.
